AGM/Planning Meeting

U3A Campus - 1A Park Bld, Ferntree Gully.
Greetings fellow U3A Wanderers,
This meeting is of great importance to our caravan club. It is the only opportunity we have all year where all members have an opportunity to meet and share in the decision making. As co-ordinator I see my role as disseminator of information, not as decision maker on behalf of everybody on all issues. We do not have a committee to share in decision making, so attendance at the AGM is of utmost importance.
It is also the time where we start to plan next year's rallies, so please come equipped with some thoughts, either just for a location that you think may be suitable or with a willingness to run a rally. As most of you know we run about 8 per year and the guidelines are available on the website. No rally leaders, no rallies.
I will also be calling for the nomination of an assistant leader. At this stage I would simply like to teach some-one else how the website is run. I am currently happy to continue running it and think that 2 people running it could be confusing, but I think we have all had experience of clubs or functions being run by one person only and then having to fold because no-one else has any insight. This is not healthy for any club.
A detailed agenda will be sent out closer to the day.
