The rally was held at the Riverside Caravan Park on the banks of the Wimmera River. It has modern clean amenities and very large grassed sites.
We welcomed two new members, Bob and Ann Power, to the caravan club.
For those who arrived early, Thursday was spent exploring the town and surrounding area then greeting the new arrivals, culminating in happy hour, all 34 of us sitting around in a large circle under the shade of a large tree enjoying the very pleasant conditions and excellent nibbles while discussing the agenda for the rest of the rally.
Friday we car pooled an 8-car convoy to see the Silo Art, travelling from Dimboola through Brim, Roseberry to Patchewollock, where we had a picnic lunch, then on to Lascelles then Hopetoun and back to Dimboola.
Saturday it was off to Sheep Hill and Rupanyup to see the last two silos’ then on to Murtoa to see the heritage listed Stick Shed built during WW2 to house wheat because it could not be exported. then lunch at the Stuff Your Guts cafe. The Saturday night dinner was at the Victoria Hotel where everybody enjoyed the meal and the olde world decor.
Sunday some people did their own thing while the rest went to Mt Arapiles to enjoy the view from the lookout, then back to Horsham for lunch. Later in the afternoon the more adventurous of us went and played in the sand in the Little Desert.
While the weather was mainly in the mid twenties the wind nearly blew us away on Saturday night.
We hope everybody enjoyed the rally as much as we did.

P.S. Thanks to Brigitte & John for the photos.
