Euroa Rally April 2023
The caravan rally was held at the Euroa Caravan Park which is on the banks of the Seven Creek in the Strathbogie Ranges. It was attended by 32 members and 2 dogs and no formal activities were planned.
The Tourist Information Centre provided maps and pamphlets for activities in the area and these included a walk along the Seven Creeks Park tracks and a stroll along the main street of Euroa where members visited eateries cafes und shops. Other activities included bike riding by the cycling group a visit to the Tabilk Winery and Nagambie, a visit to the Winton Wetlands by the walking group and the Euroa Heritage Trail around Euroa. A loop tour from Euroa visited the Mt Wombat fire tower then onto the Strathbogie store for coffee then onto Polly McQuins picnic area before returning to Euroa.
The Saturday night meal was held at the Seven Creeks Hotel which is adjacent to the caravan park where we all had a most enjoyable meal. Happy hour was held on Thursday, Friday and Sunday nights. On Sunday night we were entertained by Russell and Anita with music and a sing-along with some jokes from Gary.
