Rally Report
On arrival on Thursday people were having to set up in some rain but it all cleared and we had lovely sunshine and perfect weather for the rest of the rally. Friday most of us went to see the koalas at Raymond Island and they certainly were cute. After lunch at Paynesville some of the group went to the historic homestead at Nyerimilang in the beautiful gardens. Saturday was spent at Lakes Entrance and exploring the town . In the afternoon a very interesting cruise on the lakes, with the biggest scone we have ever had for afternoon tea and we saw lots of seals. dolphins and bird life. Dinner was at Swan Reach Hotel and the meals were great for a country pub. Sunday was a scenic drive and picnic around Buchan and surrounds with a photo shoot at the old Stoney Creek Trestle Bridge near Nowa Nowa. We welcomed a new member, Cathy Jones and hope she continues to enjoy lots more rallies.
